The Team:



Rosanna Hrabnicky, National Sponsorship Manager USA

Rosanna oversees sponsorship development and sales for our 31 home and garden shows in the U.S. and Canada. With over 25 years of sales & marketing experience she is responsible for the development of customized, mutually beneficial sponsorship programs designed to maximize her client's return on investment.

Prior to joining Marketplace Events, Rosanna spent five years as a Sales Account Executive for IMG's expositions division where she sold sponsorship for many consumer shows including the New York Int'l Auto Show, Golf, Boat, Women & Motorcycle Shows. Prior to IMG, she spent 17 years as Promotions & Advertising Manager at SYSCO Food Services of Cleveland. Rosanna resides in Cleveland, OH with her husband, Bill and son, Billy.


 

Peggi Wenham, Sponsorship Assistant

Peggi began her career at Marketplace Events in 2008 as the Sponsorship Assistant where she currently assists the National Sponsorship Manager to develop sponsorship sales for 31 Home and Garden Shows throughout North America.

With a background in sales prior to joining the team at Marketplace Events, Peggi spent 19 years as an executive administrative assistant to the Vice President of Merchandising and Marketing at SYSCO Food Services and 10½ years in many capacities including 4 years in sales with a large insurance company both in the Cleveland market.

IDA 2012 - Smart Lofts!



Now that we all understand what going green means, let’s get smart! That’s street talk for intuitive computer technology that interfaces with devices as small as your phone. The Smart Lofts are designed to show you how technology puts control of your home in the palm of your hand. Turn on the lights, turn down the heat or record TV….from anywhere.



The Interior Design Association has added this kind of technology to two loft apartments that intertwine contemporary design elements with efficient use of space giving today’s urban dweller some keen ideas on how to live well in their industrial spaces. Two design teams have worked independently putting their own spin on loft life. The apartments bring the outside in with glass walls opening onto a roof-top garden which overlooks a nighttime city skyline.
 
Designers Pamela Witte of White Orchard Home Furnishings, Orchard Park and Brooke Pelc of Nest Interiors, Buffalo are heading up the design teams that will bring the spaces to life.  Look for high tech bath features, stream-lined high function kitchens and furniture that is multi-tasking such as a wallbed tied into a home office.
